WHS Celebrated Black History Month
This year, Worthington High School Celebrated Black History Month to honor and give voices to our black communities. Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) pioneered this event by creating a space that allows for our black students to feel visible and to help educated the school community on the impact of black folks through history. Pictures of important figures and their contributions decorated the walls of our entire school and during the week from the 21st through the 28th of February, we all wore the colors of Black History Month representing the spirit of this important event. We appreciate greatly all the individuals who contributed to this successful event, and we plan to continue this initiative in the future.
