WHS Class of ’73
Plans are coming together for our reunion which will be Friday, June 9th, and Saturday June 10th. This is the same weekend as the Regatta on Lake Okabena. We have planned a variety of activities during the weekend.
Friday, June 9
Nobles County Minnesota Historical Society Tour from 3:00 – 4:00
NCHS has renovated the historic 100-year-old Worthington Armory building into a new Nobles County History Center, located at 225 Ninth St., Worthington. The Armory has been restored to its former glory with respectful updates for a modern time. This place holds many memories of pinewood derbies, boxing matches, gun safety classes, polio vaccinations and more recently gymnastics meets.
Dayton House Happy Hour from 5 pm – 7 pm.
This will be casual with a cash bar. Snacks will be provided. No need for reservations just come and reconnect with classmates and see one of Worthington’s hidden gems.
Historic Dayton House
Then you can head down to the lake and take in some of the festivities that will be happening at Sailboard Beach (better known to us as the old power plant area). There will be music, food vendors, a beer tent.
