Open Enrollment 2025: April 17 – April 28

Open Enrollment for the 2025–2026 benefits year will take place from April 17 through April 28, 2025. This is an active enrollment, which means that all benefit-eligible employees must complete the enrollment process in order to have the desired coverage effective July 1, 2025. This year, there are important changes to note please take a moment to review those updates below. Employees may complete their enrollment independently through the Employee Navigator Platform, or they may choose to schedule an appointment for personalized assistance. To support you during this period, members of the HR and Payroll teams will be visiting buildings throughout the week to assist with enrollment and answer any questions. We encourage all staff to review their options carefully and take the necessary steps during this window to ensure continued coverage.

Health Insurance:

  • The district will no longer be offering the $500 deductible plan.  If you are currently enrolled in either the single or family level, you will need to switch plans.
  • The $3,250 deductible for the HSA plan will change to $3,500 for single coverage, and $7,000 for family coverage, effective July 1, 2025.  This will be an embedded plan, meaning if one family member reaches the individual deductible, the plan begins covering their expenses.  Once the family deductible is reached, all family members’ expenses will be covered.
  • The district will be offering a new plan this year, an HSA qualifying plan, with a $1,650 deductible for single and $3,300 for family coverage.  This plan is a non-embedded plan, meaning for the entire family’s out-of-pocket expenses contribute towards the deductible.

Delta Dental Insurance:

  • Rate increase. There are no other changes to the structure of the plan.

Vision Insurance:

  • Previously, the district offered a low plan and a high plan.  Going forward, there will be only one plan with different coverage levels.

  • Coverage will now be: Employee Only, Employee + Spouse, Employee +Child(ren), or Family.

Flexible Spending Medical:

  • The maximum contribution for 2025 increased to $3,300.

Flexible Spending Dependent:

  • The maximum remains at $5,000.

Health Savings Account (HSA):

  • The contribution limits for 2025 have increased.  Be sure to account for any district contributions to your HSA when determining your own contributions to ensure you do not exceed the IRS limits:
    • Single: $4,300
    • Family: $8,550
  • If you are 55 or older, you can contribute an extra $1,000.

HR / BENEFIT SUPPORT:

HR will be holding individual meetings at each location for anyone who has questions about their benefits or needs additional support enrolling online.  Please note that we will have limited staff and available slots, so we encourage you to complete your enrollment online through the benefit portal for ease and convenience.  If you’d prefer to meet with someone for assistance, please refer to the schedule below and use the link to book a time.
