About Our Physical Education Teachers
Mrs. Cowan
Hello, I am Mrs. Cowan and I am a Physical Education and Health Teacher here at Intermediate School. I went to high school at Ruthven Ayrshire Community School in Ruthven, Iowa and graduated in 2011. I got my Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Health, as well as my Teaching License and Coaching Endorsement from Iowa State University in 2016. I have worked in this school district since the 2017-2018 school year. I really enjoy seeing students of all ages grow throughout the years. An interesting fact about me is that while student teaching, I was able to teach in Rome, Italy. I was there for three months and taught at the American Overseas School of Rome.
Ms. Linder
My name is Ms. Linder and I am a Physical Education teacher at the Intermediate School. I grew up and graduated from Worthington. I am excited to be back teaching in my home town. I got my Health and Physical Education degree from Minnesota State University – Mankato.
