Industrial Technology
The Industrial Technology department at Worthington Area Learning offers a wide variety of classes. Although the content may differ greatly, they all share a hands-on approach to learning. Students are presented an opportunity to apply techniques and concepts learned in a traditional classroom setting to supplemental lab activities or projects. Instruction during these supplemental activities is often focused on the application of previous knowledge and common sense to solve and/or troubleshoot problems that occur. Students are taught to look at a project as a system with many interacting parts that affect each other.
