English Language Development
Prairie Elementary is committed to helping multilingual learners (MLs) succeed. Our English Language Development (ELD) program builds students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while supporting their classroom learning. EL teachers work with classroom teachers to provide small-group instruction and in-class support.
We value students’ home languages as a strength and encourage family involvement. Together, we create a welcoming community where every student feels supported, confident, and ready to succeed.
