Large Animal Science
One Term Grades 11, 12 Elective
This course will be an introduction to large animal science with emphasis on fundamental concepts of physiology, nutrition, animal breeding and management as they apply to production systems of beef, dairy, horse, poultry and swine. There will be speakers, practical labs and field trips weekly. This is a great course for pre-vet students, students pursuing a career in agriculture or anyone interested in production animals.
