Mr. Lais

My name is Gene Lais. I teach Business Education.
I graduated from Worthington High School in 1986, Worthington Community College in 1988, and Mankato State 1990.
I began working for ISD 518 in December of 1990 as a substitute teacher.
I enjoy working with the students.
Mrs. Schutz

My name is Mrs. Schutz.
I teach business education and received my Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Education from Minnesota State University – Mankato. I started working for District 518 in the year 2001.
I enjoy teaching technology because it truly makes learning come alive. Being involved in extra-curricular activities is also rewarding, it’s exciting to see athletes challenge themselves and overcome obstacles.
I graduated from Worthington High School in 1994.
Mrs. Troe

My name is Penny Troe. I teach Introduction to Computer Applications, Advance Computer Applications, Business Math, Keyboarding Basics, Sales and Marketing, Business Economics, General Business, Business Communications, Business Law I and II, Recordkeeping, PC Maintenance I and II, CISCO I and II, Word Processing.
I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Education from Southwest State University.
I started working for the school district in 1998 as a business education instructor.
I enjoy working with students and watching them grow personally and professionally; and watching them excel in academics and athletics. I love working with students through the extra-curriculum program Business Professionals of America and the concession stand.
