Two Terms Grades 11, 12 Required
In English 11, students will enhance their reading, writing, and communication skills. Students will read and analyze a variety of classic and contemporary texts. This course offers students a wealth of opportunities to interact with text through written responses and critical thinking questions. English 11 takes students through literary and nonfiction texts, primarily through the study of longer works, that span a variety of genres, cultures, and eras. At the completion of the course, students will be well-versed in the skills necessary for rigorous college and career-level reading, writing, and speaking.
