Qualifying students must: Take and meet requirements of the Accuplacer test. Juniors must be ranked in the top 1/3 of their class. Seniors must be ranked in the top 1/2 of their class.
The successful completion of this course will earn you 4 credits through MN West Community college. Investigate fundamental principles of biology with special emphasis on the composition of living things and living systems, the chemistry of living things, natural selection, cell structure and function, metabolism emphasizing bioenergetics and biosynthesis, the cell cycle, and genetics. This course meets the high school biology requirement for graduation.
