This course provides English Language Learners with the opportunity to experience the English language within the literary traditions of the novel, drama, and a variety of contemporary fiction. Several of the selections thematically relate to the immigrant experience. Writing includes grammar, mechanics, sentence construction, practice and refinement of the different paragraph modes.
