Computer Aided Design 1
One Term Grades 10, 11, 12 Elective
Prerequisite: Introduction to CAD
Students will learn CAD techniques and 3D CAD modeling using Creo Parametric design software. Units in this course cover 3D Solid Modeling, 3D Solid Sectioning, Multi-view Projection, and 3D Rendering. Students that successfully complete the Computer Aided Design course will be able to produce complex, accurate three-dimensional solid models that contain various rendered, geometric features while adhering to proper drafting standards and techniques.
