Engineering

One Term       Grades 9, 10, 11, 12       Elective

Students will be introduced to two disciplines in the engineering field through hands-on experiences. Students will learn about the engineering design process and utilize the multiple steps to research, design, construct, test, and redesign an airplane and a balsa wood bridge. Students who complete the course will be able to apply the steps of the engineering design process to everyday problems and walk away with a better understanding of two disciplines within the engineering field.
