Introduction to CAD
One Term Grades 9, 10, 11, 12 Elective
Students will learn the basics of CAD (Computer Aided Design) using the Creo Parametric design software. Units in this course cover Basic 2D CAD Drawing, CAD geometric construction, 3D Solid Modeling, Dimensioning, and Creating Working Drawings. Students that successfully complete the Introduction to CAD course will be able to produce complex, accurate computer aided designs that contain various geometric features while adhering to proper drafting standards and techniques.
