Accelerated Geometry A & B

Two Terms             Grade 9, 10, 11              Meets Requirement

Prerequisite: Grade of B- or better in Algebra 1 or math department recommendation

This course will include all the topics in a regular geometry course but at a more rigorous level and pace. The course includes material on coordinates, congruence and symmetry, measurements, area, and volume. It integrates algebra with geometry and is rich in applications and problem solving. Formal and informal proofs and constructions are also covered.
