Geometry A & B

Two Terms              Grades 9, 10, 11              Meets Requirement

Prerequisite: Grade of C- or better in WMS 8th grade math or Algebra 1 or Concepts of Algebra 1

Geometry is the first of a sequence of college bound mathematics courses. It includes material on coordinates, congruence and symmetry, measurements, area, and volume. It integrates algebra with geometry and is rich in applications and problem solving. Formal and informal proofs and constructions are also covered.
