Advanced Placement World History A & B

This course will fulfill the .5 required credit for World History A&B.

Students who have successfully completed AP World History A&B meet the World History required credit.

This course focuses on developing students’ understanding of global history from 1200 CE to the present through analysis of significant events, people, and processes across six themes, such as governance, culture, and economic systems. Students build critical thinking skills by analyzing sources, making connections, and crafting arguments, preparing them for the AP exam and potential college credit. This course is ideal for students seeking a challenging, fast-paced alternative to regular World History, with an interest in exploring global connections and developing advanced analytical and writing skills.
