US History A & B
Two Terms Grade 11 Required
This is a comprehensive study of the cultural, social, economic, political, and technological forces that have shaped the development of our country into its present state. The study begins with a review of colonial times leading up to the Revolution, The Revolutionary War, foreign and domestic policies of the 1800’s, the Civil War and Reconstruction, and the rise of the Industrial Age. From that point, a more intensive study will occur as students learn about U.S. history from the Progressive Era up through the Vietnam War, to the present time.
