About Our 7A Teachers
Mr. Doeden
My name is Mr. Doeden and I teach 7th grade Life Science at Worthington Middle School. I hold an Associate of Arts Degree from Crossroads College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and a minor in chemistry from the University of Minnesota, and a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Southwest Minnesota State University. Before being hired by District 518 in 2000, I worked for seven years for an animal health biologics company in their diagnostic laboratory.
Ms. Guertin
I was born and raised in MN, I attended Southwest MN state university and received a BS in Education. After graduation I moved to California, where I taught math for 18 years. While in CA, I received my Masters in mathematics curriculum from Concordia University. I recently moved back to Windom, to be closer to my children and my grandson. I am currently teaching 7th and 8th grade mathematics at WMS.
Mrs. Iverson
Mrs. Iverson started her teaching career in 1991 at what was then Worthington Junior High. She taught math and Spanish in grades 7-9. More recently, she has taught 7th grade math.
Mr. Lonneman
Hello, My name is Aaron Lonneman. I am a 7th grade social studies teacher at Worthington Middle School. I was born and raised in Adrian, MN and graduated from Adrian High School in 2010. I received my bachelor’s degree from Morningside College in 2014. TI started in the Worthington School District in 2020, after spending the previous six years in Redfield, SD. I currently coach football and track for the Trojans. In my free time I enjoy training my English Setters and Wirehaired Griffons to hunt all sorts of upland birds and waterfowl.
Mrs. McGaughey
My name is Mrs. McGaughey. I have been teaching English at the middle school since 1999. I first started teaching 8th grade, but for the past 5 to 6 years I have taught 7th. I enjoy challenging the students to higher level thinking and enjoy their expressions when they succeed.
