About Our Teachers
Mr. Fletcher
My name is Mr. Fletcher and I teach Physical Education and Health at the Middle School. I went to college at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, Minnesota. I am also the assistant coach for the Girls and Boys Tennis teams.
Ms. Hogan
Hello, my name is Miss Hogan and I teach Physical Education and Health at Worthington Middle School. I graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, and obtained my Master’s of Arts in Education from Saint Mary’s University. I started teaching for ISD 518 in 2008. I am also the Middle School Activities Coordinator and Co-Head Boys and Girls Track Coach.
Mrs. Opdahl
My name is Courtney Opdahl and I teach 6-8th grade phy-ed and 6th grade health. I graduated from Fulda High School in 2012 and began my college career at Dakota State University (Madison, SD) where I earned my B.S. degree in Physical Education. When I am not at school, I enjoy being outside, spending time with my family and friends, and watching various sports. I am the Head Coach for Volleyball and I also coach Middle School Track.
Mr. Smidt
Hi, I am Mr. Smidt and my teaching career started in the fall of 2000. I am currently teaching middle school Physical Education. I am also the head coach for Cross Country and Track. I truly enjoy making a positive contribution to the emotional growth and the athletic excellence of students. When not in school, I spend time with my wife and two children, go to many sporting events, and fish on many lakes.
